Vacation Rental Near Mercedes-Benz Stadium: The Game Day Guide

vacation rental near Mercedes-Benz Stadium

A lot of our bookings are built around a game. Every Volta home is a vacation rental near Mercedes-Benz Stadium — 10 to 15 minutes by car, less by train — and sleeps 8 to 16, so the whole group stays together instead of across three hotel rooms.

Getting to the stadium from your vacation rental near Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Don’t drive. Stadium parking is expensive and the exit takes an hour. Sylvan’s Escape is a 15-minute walk to MARTA; from the other homes, drive to the nearest station and ride to GWCC/CNN Center, which puts you at the stadium door. Rideshare works going in but surges badly coming out.

Before the game

Eat at the house. Stadium food is cheaper than most venues, but feeding twelve at the grill is cheaper still, and the pool is right there for the afternoon. Leave two hours before kickoff for a Falcons game, ninety minutes for Atlanta United.

Tickets for a group

Buy together so you sit together — group sales through the stadium are easier than stitching seats on the resale market. For Hawks games at State Farm Arena next door, groups of ten-plus usually get a rate through the box office.

After the game

Back to the house by 11 at the latest. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am at every home and each one has a noise monitor, so the post-game celebration is the hot tub and the fire pit, not a speaker on the deck. The 120″ projector at Patio Paradise is the spot for the highlights.

The big weekends

SEC Championship, college football kickoff, Atlanta United playoffs, and the stadium concerts. These are the dates a vacation rental near Mercedes-Benz Stadium books out first. If you know the date, book the house before you buy the tickets.

Concerts

Same advice: MARTA in, MARTA out, and give yourself the full hour for the crowd. Stadium concerts finish late, so book the home for the night after too — nobody wants a 6am flight after a midnight exit.

Which vacation rental near Mercedes-Benz Stadium for game day

Sylvan’s Escape if you want to walk to the train. Patio Paradise for the projector and the basketball court. Cascade Oasis if the group is sixteen. All four are within 15 minutes.

Beyond the stadium

Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola are all next to the stadium, so a game weekend doubles as a Downtown weekend. See our experiences page for the full list.
