The Busy Bee has fed Atlanta for over seventy years — Martin Luther King Jr. ate here, and so does everyone who visits the city and asks a local where to go. Fried chicken, oxtails, mac and cheese, collards, cornbread.
It won a James Beard America’s Classics award and the line reflects that. Note it is currently takeout only with outdoor tables, so order ahead and bring it back to the house for the group.
It’s close to the West End homes and is the one meal out most groups remember.
