The mural is usually the first photo our guests post. Custom Atlanta vacation rental murals are what make a Volta home feel like something other than a large house with a pool — they’re the reason the house itself ends up in the memory.
Why we commission murals
Our homes sit in real Atlanta neighbourhoods — Cascade, the West End, Southwest Atlanta. The walls should look like it. Working with local artists means the art belongs to the place, not to a catalogue, and it gives every home one thing you can’t find at another rental.
ATL Cascade Oasis — Whitney Holbourn
The spray-painted mural at Cascade covers the side of the house and wraps around the outdoor space. It’s the backdrop for the pool, the hot tub and the group photo. Whitney Holbourn is an Atlanta muralist, and this is one of her largest residential pieces.
Sylvan’s Escape — Whitney Holbourn
Whitney also painted the mural at Sylvan’s Escape, so if you’ve stayed at Cascade you’ll recognise the style. Same bold colour, different house.
ATL Patio Paradise — Liza
The Patio Paradise mural is by Liza, another Atlanta artist. It gives the house its own look, separate from the Whitney Holbourn pieces at the other two.
Where to take the photo
At Cascade, stand with your back to the mural and the pool beside you; the light is best late afternoon. Tag us — we share guest photos with permission.
More Atlanta vacation rental murals to come
We add art as we add homes. If you’re an Atlanta artist and want to paint a wall for us, get in touch through the contact page. In the meantime, you can see the current Atlanta vacation rental murals in the photos on our properties page.
